Incontri Promozionali del 27 e 28 Novembre 2007 POST EVENTO
 Il Comitato Italiano Paralimpico ha organizzato, in accordo con la propria sede piemontese ed in collaborazione con la Società sportiva SportDiPiù Torino, nelle giornate di Martedì 27 e Mercoledì 28 Novembre 2007, una serie di incontri promozionali presso i Centri di Riabilitazione Funzionale/Unità Spinale Unipolare di Torino e Bergamo; gli incontri, durante i quali è intervenuto il Commissario Tecnico della Squadra Nazionale Italiana di Scherma in Carrozzina, Maestro Fabio Giovannini, hanno portato la disciplina della Scherma in Carrozzina nei Centri di riabilitazione con l’intento di promuovere e far conoscere ulteriormente la Scherma e soprattutto di far provare in prima persona i pazienti; Gli Atleti già praticanti la Scherma in Carrozzina della Società SportDiPiù Torino, Pietro Maria Ghiosso, Marco Lospinoso, Andrea Mogos e Giuseppe Iannò (presente per il secondo anno consecutivo nella lista degli Atleti di interesse nazionale) si sono prestati ad una dimostrazione pratica nell’arma del fioretto. Questa serie di appuntamenti , oltre che a tutte le persone con disabilità fisica, è altresì stata destinata ai Tecnici del settore sportivo schermistico ed alle Figure impegnate nella riabilitazione. La presenza del Commissario Tecnico, su specifico incarico del C.I.P. nazionale, ha assicurato agli incontri un contenuto informativo di altissima qualità, regalando continuità sportiva alla Città di Torino che, sull’onda dei Campionati Mondiali di Scherma in piedi ed in Carrozzina, svolti dal 29 Settembre al 7 Ottobre 2006 proprio a Torino, per la prima volta, hanno visto Atleti praticanti la Scherma in Carrozzina gareggiare contemporaneamente ad Atleti praticanti la Scherma in Piedi.  In occasione della Seconda Prova di Qualificazione Nazionale Giovani di Scherma in Piedi, che si svolgerà a Torino nei giorni 22, 23 e 24 Febbraio 2008 presso il PalaRuffini (Parco Ruffini, Viale Burdin 10, Torino), la Scherma in Carrozzina tornerà nella Città della Mole questa volta con un Raduno Tecnico della Nazionale Italiana: Sarà un ulteriore momento di integrazione e di confronto sportivo tra Atleti.Presso la sede dell’Azienda Ospedaliera C.T.O./C.R.F./M. Adelaide Torino, già dalla prossima settimana, il Tecnico di Scherma in Carrozzina della Società SportDiPiù Torino presenzierà ad una serie di appuntamenti a cadenza settimanale mirati alla riabilitazione fisica attraverso la Scherma: spetterà ai ragazzi, una volta usciti dal Centro, decidere se e come continuare a fare Sport.
